Resolved Question: I have two questions about tea.?

Recently Teavana has moved into a location near me and before that, I was never really a big tea drinker. I had a few cups of green tea a month from tea bags but that was it. But after sampling Teavana's tea I was hooked. I bought some mate and oolong (wu-long) tea for weight loss benefits and loved it. But my now problem is that I'm hardly ever home except in the morning and at night so I don't have a lot of time to spend heating water, steeping tea, and then finally relaxing to drink it. Which leads me to my questions:

1. Is it safe (and effective) to just eat the raw or steeped tea leaves and get the same benefits that oolong and mate teas boast about?

2. What is better for weight loss / hunger suppressant between mate, oolong, and green tea?

Resolved Question: How do I dehydrate blueberries?

How do I dehydrate blueberries so that I can use them in tea? My wife really likes tea, and she loves blueberries, therefore I was going to buy some loose oolong tea, and dehydrate some blueberries myself, then mix the two and leave it for her to find. Nothing big, just a nice little gift. But I was wondering if anyone could instruct me on how to go about dehydrating poop. I don't want to turn them into the leathery wrinkled blueberries raisins. I'm looking to turn them into the actually dehydrated, crispy flakes of blueberry. Thank you for any and all help!

Resolved Question: Has anyone ever actually tried Wu Yi Oolong tea?

What was your experience on it.

I am asking because I purchased some. I have tons of oolong tea at home but I am not a fan of the taste because it is over processed and has like a dirt like taste, i usually buy it in chinatown.

I found some at a closeout store for a dollar thats usually sold online for almost 30-50 dollars a month. People always complain about the companies business method but they never say if it helps or not. Im not really hell bent on losing weight but I was hoping that it would help by providing me with some sort of detox properties.

Any answers that are not promos for the product would be great. Thank you!

Resolved Question: Oolong Tea for weight loss?

Oolong Tea. It's like $30 for a box of 16 tea bags. I've read that you need to drink like 3-4 cups of this tea daily for weight loss. How many cups (in diet speak) will each tea bag make?

Cause that stuff is expensive....

Resolved Question: Serious people only please: I want input on my weight-loss plan... and suggestions...?

I'm 22 years old and am very much overweight. Probably about 50lbs because I've had surgery on my leg so I was confined to a wheelchair for approximately 6 months and the medication made me gain the weight :(

My plan:
I have an eliptical and plan to use it for 30 minutes in the morning before work and for 30 minutes in the evening sometime. Each time it's approximately 300-400 calories burned.
Obvisously, I need a good diet as well. I'm drinking Wu-long Tea 2x a day (it's like a detoxifier tea). I also plan on taking Alli so my fat intake has to be monitored. Low-fat and low-calorie diet.
I am lazy and lack motivation to do this and probably keep up with it.
Also, one of my biggest problems is snacking. Although I try to keep unhealthy snacks out of the house, I snack a lot! I think I have some sort of oral fixation because if im not snacking, I'm chewing on my fingers (biting the skin on around the nails).

Please help

Are there anyone who's done a similar weight-lost plan and have acheives their goals?
Are there any suggestions that can help me stay motivated?
Any suggestions on my snacking problem?

Voting Question: Wulong/Oolong Tea on the Master Cleanse?

I have started the Master Cleanse (DO NOT REPLY if you are going to say how bad it is, etc etc) and I am wondering if it is okay to use Oolong tea during the cleanse in pleace of the Smooth Move tea they recommend using. Since Oolong is a natural laxative I figured it's okay...but want to check to ensure maximum results. Thank you :)

Resolved Question: I'm trying to lose weight, but I'm not sure if I'm in starvation mode?

I'm 5"8' and I weight 230lbs...

I eat three meals a day, each meal 4 hours apart, and keeping each meal at below 300 calories. I replace water with Oolong tea, and I drink six bottles of tea through out the day. I take vitamins in the morning and at night. I sleep for about 12 hours everyday, I get on the cardio machines in the gym 45 mins per day, six days a week, and also work out for 30 minutes three times a week. Because I'm an artist, so for the time that I'm not exercising or sleeping, I'm just sitting at my desk drawing all day.

So far I've only lost 25lbs in about a month and half, I wonder if I'm in starvation mode and that I need to eat more to really lose the weight... please help, I eat mostly grilled chicken...

Resolved Question: The best category is R&S?

I category hop too much to be considered a "regular" in it but i've come to the conclusion it's the best one.

Politics has waaay too many hate filled participants and having a rational discussion there is next to impossible. Not to mention ignorance spreads like the plague over there and they all take themselves way too seriously. Nothing is more annoying than ignoramuses who take themselves too seriously. I have contacts and fans from politics category, but i'm not talking about them ;)

Diet and fitness is fun but too many spammers for wu-yi tea and acai berry and too many of the same questions over and over. e.g. "if i eat 300 calories a day how long will it take me to lose 30 lbs"

P&S is just too big, but it's fun too. If you're not lightning fast your answer will get buried under like 40 other answers and it won't get read.

R&S is a nice balance. Not too big not too small. Not too care bear but not too mean. Also you get a nice mix of serious and joke questions. Probably the highest % of intelligent participants. Sure you get a lot of the same questions over and over but at least the drinking game makes it fun. People are also pretty good at giving thumbs to answers here.

What do you think?
or maybe i've just put way too much thought into this lol

Resolved Question: wulong/oolong tea ior Acai Veri in New Zealand?

I live in the Bay of Plenty. But can't find any?

Resolved Question: Green Tea vs. Oolong Tea, Wu-long Tea, Wu-yi Tea what is the difference?

Would I possibly get the same or close to the same results with drinking green tea? Along with diet and exercise of course. But is there something special in the other teas or could the same be done with the green tea?

I was researching the types of slimming teas. Oolong teas and the others have no calories, no sodium, no carbs, no protien - same goes for the green tea.

Resolved Question: how long will it take to fit a sample size?

a sample size has measurements of 34-24-24 (or at least a 24 inch waist as I will end up with smaller hips/boobs)
ATM I am 35-29-36.
A sample size is the sample clothing size used in modelling. It is generally a 2-4 and made to fit someone who is 5'9.

I am going to be eating 1400 calories, and for the next 2-3 months, every week I will be doing 2 kickboxing lessons, a tap dance lesson and a breakdancing lesson or contemporary dance lesson. I might go to one soccer and basketball lesson each week and I am starting to run (no more than 5m on first day, I won't last longer lol) and in about 2 months I will be starting soccer training (2x week) and might do athletics (2x) and cross country (aka track, 2x a week).

About how long will it take to lose 5" off my waist? Would I do it by the end of July? thanks x

And since I am 14 would I possible grow another inch? (i'm 5'8") I do like no sport pretty much and my mum says i could grow another inch, because of the physical activity.

BTW my mother knows and she's OK with it. I just want to know how long it'd take.

I did ask earlier but I only got those stupid wu-yi tea answers and i am not going to buy any of those links or click them or anything.
dude, marissa miller has a 6 pack and she's hell skinny and has like a 23-24" waist(i don't want to look like her though :| i dont want a 6 pack. the only thing that'd give me abs is kickboxing)

Resolved Question: Body Cleanses? Most effective Exercises?

I am ready to put my foot where my mouth is when it comes to getting my butt into shape. I want to make sure to do a thorough body cleanse before I start my "diet" (i hate that word)!!!
I am on the Wu-Yi Tea Weight Loss system which I have NOT started yet, but intend to start it in 1 to 2 weeks, depending on how long my cleanse will take. (Google Wu-Yi Weight Loss in google to get more details)
I want a very effective healthy and cost efficient cleanse, one that I will notice a change and most of all feel a change.
Also I have my weight mostly around my mid section and my arms, so what are good exercises I can do from home without spending money?
I am really eager to do this and want the most effective and least expensive ways to accomplish my goals. My goal is to lose 40lbs by May or June.
Thanks for your help :-)

Resolved Question: Question about Oolong Tea?

Does anyone know of a good oolong tea? I found lots on Amazon.com but I don't want to go for one that is not as good or a rip off or w/e. I don't have an Asian Marketplace near me. Even though I know that tea alone can't help with weight loss, I've heard it can help, along with exercise and good eating habits. I've done alot of research on Wu-Yi and came to the conclusion that most of the free trial websites are scams and that oolong tea is just as good.

Is this a good one? has anyone tried this? The second link is all the others that are listed.
